A homegrown autumn
Fall is by far my favorite season. A happy mixture of nostalgia and well-being lives in me from the first day of September. In the past, it rhymed with the return to school, the reunion of friends and the approach of the Halloween party. Now I associate it with all the pleasure that cooler weather brings: getting out of woolen clothes, hot drinks, “comfort food” and quiet days with the family at home.
“Cocooning”
This is also the time when we touch up the inside of our cocoon, so that it is as comfortable as possible when the cold weather hits. A perfect opportunity to make room for Quebec products in our daily lives. Whether hung on the wall or adorning the center of the dining table, the decorative elements made in Quebec certainly know how to embellish our days.
Food
When fall arrives, our beautiful province is bursting with colors and flavors all its own. Warm tones that whet the appetite, from apples to cucurbits. Intoxicating smells of spices and sweet sweet syrups. Heat that warms our stomachs and hearts. Without forgetting inspirations that remind us of the good memories brought to us by a large, well-set table.
Accessories
As soon as the leaves turn yellow, certain accessories become essential. Woollens is without a doubt my keyword for the season. From headbands to scarves, each element is meticulously chosen for aesthetic purposes, but above all practical. Moreover, it is with this in mind that Quebec creations are designed: a successful combination of “ cosy” and chic.
Be inspired by the beautiful season that is beginning and let yourself be charmed by what local businesses have to offer.
Happy fall!
