Favorites for new Signé Local members – spring 2022

Names are regularly added to the directory of entrepreneurs and creators of Signé Local. To welcome them and introduce them to you, we wanted to share with you our favorite products from some of the new members.

Eco-Cado

Made with fabric composed mainly of plastic from recycled bottles, Eco-Cado reusable packaging will change the way you give a gift. In the Japanese fashion of furoshiki , these wrappers have a button that makes it easier to close the package, instead of the traditional knot. They exist in several sizes to pack different formats of objects.

My favorites: the Sapin fabric from the Boréal collection and the Gold fabric from the Bloom collection

Goth Rider

With its rock and metal allure, the GothRider café does not go unnoticed! The company has designed a brand image that is aimed at people who are a little more out of the ordinary. In addition to coffee, GothRider offers other items like black mugs, clothing, and accessories accented with skull artwork. There are flavors offered for a limited time, such as for Christmas or St. Patrick's Day, but the star is Gasoline organic coffee. Described as strong and flavorful, it contains twice as much caffeine as regular coffee. It can be purchased ground, in beans, and in K-Cup pods.

My favourite: the Gasoline coffee kit in capsules and the petrol pump cup

The Sublime

Do you know the arranged rum? It is a traditional Caribbean spirit that consists of a preparation of white rum, fruits and spices. Le Sublime offers different varieties of mixes made from simple ingredients, with no added preservatives or colorings. The company also provides the glass bottle in which you add your own rum. We let everything macerate for a month to obtain a beautiful artisanal drink that will make you travel for sure.

My favorite: L'Éclosion preparation (mango, pineapple, cinnamon and hibiscus)

Funky Candles

What immediately attracted me were the strange fragrances like Dill Pickle, Italian Pizza or Lettuce! The Funky Candles are aptly named, but there are also slightly more “usual” scents for those who are hesitant. It's a great father-daughter project; Martin, who designs and creates the soy wax candles, and his daughter, who designs the label illustrations.

My favorites: the Cheeseburger candle and the Campfire candle (in a reusable carabiner cup)

"Nothing is lost, everything is created": this is the motto of Olivier, a cabinetmaker by trade, who uses his scraps of North American wood to make objects. Tranche de bois offers bracelets, lamps, salt and pepper shakers, and candle holders. Although each piece is made from leftovers, the creations are no less incredible and above all, it avoids waste.

My favorites: the Tradi lamp and the pepper mill and salt mill set
