Signé Local will transport the products of seven companies from here to Europe as part of a trade mission organized by the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
As part of the course MKA 1014: Commercial export mission , 14 students are currently working with companies to validate the interest in their products on the French and Belgian markets.
Following the completion of a pre-feasibility study, students will fly to Europe at the end of June 2022 to confirm market potential and meet potential customers for businesses. During their stay, they will also have the opportunity to visit government authorities facilitating business market development, including the Canadian Embassy in Paris.
This project, set up by professors William Menvielle and Frédéric Parissier, offers a unique opportunity for local entrepreneurs to test a new export market for their product at low cost, while benefiting from quality support.
