We tried the Chic Nomade co cover.

I received my Chic Nomade co cover. when I was pregnant with our first child. As future parents, my lover and I didn't want to fall into the vicious cycle of overconsumption, which can easily hit future parents. Our rule: everything that came into our house had to be used, useful and eco-friendly. I have not been disappointed.

I gave birth to our daughter at the beginning of August. My five-in-one Chic Nomade case has found its place in my hospital bag. Oh ! How happy I was to have thought to bring it! I was able to test it the day after the arrival of our baby. Of a modest nature, I was able to cover myself during my breastfeeding sessions when we had visitors in the room. I now understand why the company is called Chic Nomade co. The product is elegant, versatile and discreet at the same time. It doesn't take up much space, so it can easily be slipped into the diaper bag or even into our purse. You can take it everywhere. I am thinking in particular of the family trip that we are planning. My cover will undoubtedly have its place with us on the plane.

Basically, the Chic Nomade cover was to be used to cover the shell to create a little cocoon of privacy for baby. Then, the idea that it could also be used as a nursing shawl germinated in the head of the entrepreneur. One thing leading to another, the cover has therefore become an essential five-in-one accessory, also serving as a swing cover, grocery basket cover and burp cover. Tested and approved

As I received my Chic Nomade cover as a gift, I had no expectations. Even my fear was to forget it at the bottom of a drawer, without really knowing what to do with it. How wrong I was!

Chic Nomade co. manufactures the only approved temperature-safe shell cover. Our daughter was born in the middle of a heat wave, and at first I was afraid that she would be too hot under the cover. Oh no! The latter was made to create a chimney effect that expels air through the top hole. In addition, the light and fluid fabric allows baby to breathe well.

In addition, my boyfriend and I are followers of the baby carrier. Our daughter has already traveled several kilometres, well glued to mum or dad. But in the middle of summer, the sun hits hard. At the grocery store, at the mall, while camping, people are curious. With the cover on the shell, the most intrusive dare less. I also really like the nursing shawl function. I'm not entirely comfortable breastfeeding in public. Even in front of my friends or family members, I prefer to withdraw when it comes time to feed my daughter. On the other hand, with my cover, I feel more and more confident. Guests at home? No problem, I take out my cover and it's settled. Unlike other nursing scarves I've tried, the Chic Nomade cover, since you put it on like a sweater over your head, stays in place and covers perfectly. In addition, the fabric is soft on baby's skin.

My daughter being still very young, I did not have the chance to test the cover to cover a swing or a grocery basket. Also, I prefer not to use it as a burp blanket. I use an old cloth instead. But abroad or on the road, to travel light, I would not hesitate to use it. It could even be used as a small blanket on the plane, a bit like a sleeping bag.

It is soft and durable, and its eco-fibers do not irritate the skin. This is an essential element to consider, in my opinion.

The basic model is on sale for forty-five dollars, and the bamboo fiber model can be had for fifty-five dollars, as well as some other models, including the Van Gogh , one of my favorites. This is a very reasonable price, given the very high quality and versatility of the product.
