When Signé Local made a call to all collaborators in order to find someone to try this cosmetic and Quebec innovation, I jumped at the chance without thinking too much. I had heard of braDful before and really wanted to give their infusers a try , as I felt like I was the perfect candidate for this trial. Indeed, after three pregnancies and three breastfed children, the body changes. As I mentioned, I therefore immediately agreed to test the product without really realizing that I would have to tell you about a rather intimate part of my anatomy! But hey, let's be brave and here is the summary of my braDful experience.
Yes, but what is it?
First of all, let me explain what exactly it is about. These are lifting and plumping infusers for the chest, designed and manufactured by Cosmétiques Asan , a Quebec company founded by Mylène Geoffroy. These fabric applicators stick directly into the bra, promising results on improving skin elasticity and even increasing breast size. It is a cosmetic product without hormones and composed mainly of natural ingredients such as mangosteen (a fruit) and marine collagen. The principle of effectiveness is based on the fact that the skin absorbs at its own pace the biomimetic fat (identical to the fat of the skin) with which the infusers are impregnated.* The results may therefore vary depending on the constitution of each person. Some had to shop for new bras because the results were so impressive.
Yes, but does it work?
Now I'm sure you're really curious to know if it worked for me. When I spoke on the phone with Rosie, Cosmétique Asan's communication specialist, she took the time to explain to me how to use the product. It's really simple. With the starter kit, the infusers must be worn 6 days a week for 4 weeks. At the rate of a pair of patches every 2 days. Easy to apply in the bra, I put them on in the morning and forgot about them until the evening. It is recommended to wear them 1 to 8 hours a day. Rosie also took the time to explain to me that this non-evasive cosmetic product acts on the fatty cells of the chest and is safe in its composition.
Slice of life: It was then that I remembered that my family doctor had already noticed, after a mammogram, that I had what is called a dense breast! That is to say with very little fat… Hey yes, there is a place on the body where we are generally very happy to have a little fat, but it seems that I am not so lucky . So I didn't expect drastic changes in the volume of my breasts, but I thought it was still worth a try. Either way, I didn't necessarily want a major change, just getting my "before babies" figure back.
Take care of your (small) onions
I have to admit that after 3 weeks I started to notice that my breast shape had changed. Carrying and breastfeeding 3 children, it leaves traces. I never had bulky attributes, but that part of my anatomy that served to nourish my offspring still managed to shrink in volume. In short, to picture the whole thing, I would compare my breasts BEFORE braDful to French shallots because of their teardrop shapes and AFTER braDful, to small, rounder white onions. I hope the image is strong enough for you to get an idea of the changes I have observed from this essay…
Tested and approved
Now I just need to continue with what we might call a maintenance program to see if the results continue to evolve. The results continue to improve after 4 weeks and it is possible to do 2 months for more effect. For the moment I'm satisfied because it's discreet (when dressed you can't see the difference), but when I look at myself in the mirror, I see the difference. It's the kind of little luxury that any woman who wants it should afford.
